Frequently Asked Questions
How is your clinic set up?
Our convenient care model focuses on appointment-based visits for common, isolated medical issues. We’re here when you need care, attempting to avoid wait times and offer transparent pricing, but we are not a replacement for your primary care provider.
How is your clinic different from urgent care?
Urgent care is designed for walk-in visits and can treat a wider range of conditions. We are appointment-based and are best for straightforward issues like minor infections or minor injuries.
How is convenient care different from primary care?
Primary care provides ongoing, comprehensive management of your health, including wellness visits, chronic conditions, and preventive care. Convenient care is not a substitute for a primary care provider—it’s designed for one-time, focused medical needs.
When should I go to the emergency department?
Always call 911 or go to the ER for life-threatening emergencies such as:
Chest pain, heart issues or shortness of breath
Severe abdominal pain
Signs of stroke (sudden weakness, confusion, slurred speech)
Serious injuries or uncontrolled bleeding
Allergic reactions
Serious infections
Fainting
Among other issues
What kinds of issues can convenient care treat?
We can help with many common concerns, such as:
Colds, cough, flu, and sore throat
Ear infections, sinus infections, and strep
Minor skin infections or rashes
Simple medication refills
Urinary tract infections
Minor musculoskeletal injuries (sprains, strains)

Do you have xray?
We do not have an xray machine in our clinic. If xrays are needed, we refer patients to Rayus Radiology in Poulsbo. If you feel like you need an xray urgently, then the local urgent care or your primary care provider is a great place to be seen.
Do you draw labs?
We are able to collect some labs onsite, such as swabs (i.e. throat swabs) and urine samples to be processed at LabCorp. If blood work is ordered, they must be drawn at LabCorp’s facility in Poulsbo.
If you don’t take insurance, why do I need to enter my insurance information?
Great question! We keep your insurance on file in case we need to order labs or imaging from outside providers.
Do you see children?
Yes. We see patients ages 4 and older.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-pay clinic with transparent pricing. You can use HSA/FSA or credit cards, and we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Insurance can be used for outside labs and imaging.
Do you see Medicare or Medicaid patients?
Unfortunately, federal regulations prevent us from offering cash-pay services to Medicare or Medicaid patients.
What happens if my issue is more serious?
If we feel your condition needs urgent or emergency care, or follow-up with a primary care provider, we’ll help guide you to the right next step.
