Lincoln Smith is a board certified physician assistant with 10 years of clinical experience. After graduating summa cum laude from his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Bridgeport in 2015, he started his PA-C career as an urgent care provider serving in the West Seattle neighborhood where he gained invaluable experience in acute care.

Wanting to expand on his EMS background, he also worked during that time as an emergency department hospitalist in Everett, WA, treating various disease states, ranging from infections, heart attacks, strokes, arrhythmias and respiratory compromise, among others. He moved to Bainbridge Island in 2019 and worked several years with a local interventional and general cardiology practice, working both in the hospital and outpatient settings. After being primarily hospital based during the COVID-19 pandemic, he transitioned to primary care on Bainbridge Island with a desire to further serve the community in which he lives. He has been fortunate to have worked with countless incredible physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and support staff over the years and is grateful for the thousands of patients he has treated. Each one of those providers and patients teaching him new lessons every day.

Wanting to serve his community while providing affordable, accessible healthcare, he founded Bainbridge Express Clinic in 2025.

In his time off, he and his amazing wife and two daughters love the beach, exploring this incredible place we live, catching a Mariner’s game and traveling whenever they can. He recently started playing ice hockey and simply can’t get enough of it.
